As an Educator

On 3rd January 2026, I had the honour of attending the Sneha Sammelan organized by Avishkar Group of Education at the NKT Group Auditorium, Thane, as the Chief Guest.

This year marks the 25th anniversary of the institution.
More than 1,500 students, ranging from early childhood (Shishugat) to graduation level, receive education and training here.

This institution not only focuses on academics but also strongly emphasizes values and moral education for children.

Under the leadership of Mr. Santosh Chaudhary, along with his entire family—including siblings, sisters, and their families—the institution has been successfully run in Thane for the past 25 years.
At a time when families are becoming smaller and homes are breaking apart, it is truly commendable that an entire family has stayed united to run an educational institution together for 25 years—this is no easy task.

Many times, we are unaware of the institutions operating in our own neighbourhoods.
I learned for the very first time today that such a large and impactful institution exists in Thane, and I felt truly happy to become a part of this journey. 🥰

During the event, thousands of students presented an art exhibition, which was beautifully performed under the guidance and direction of their teachers.

A particularly proud and joyful moment for me was presenting the Avishkar Kala Award for this year to the renowned classical dancer, Ms. Nivedita Ranade. It was a moment of great personal honour.

Another deeply inspiring aspect of this institution is that students from extremely underprivileged backgrounds, after receiving education here and succeeding in competitive exams or securing high-ranking positions, contribute a portion of their income towards scholarships for underprivileged students currently studying at the institute.

I would like to extend my special thanks to Ms. Meghna Sane.
My heartfelt gratitude to the Avishkar Education Group for inviting me as a guest for this wonderful program.

Some moments captured from the event.

Dr. Arundhati Bhalerao has successfully completed projects in 180 TMC and NMMC schools with her trained staff (whom she personally trained). She has conducted training sessions on “Hasat Khelat Shikshan – Arthaat Shikshan Karuya Sope” for students of standards 5th to 7th, benefiting over 15,000 students. She also showcased the work of 500 students in front of the former Education Minister, Mr. Deepak Kesarkar.
