On 6th May 2026, a Stress Management and Life Skills Workshop was successfully conducted in Gondia with 66 women police personnel from the region.
The experience of interacting with the 101 participants from yesterday, along with a new group of police personnel who attended today, was truly wonderful. Today’s workshop was held from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
These two days of workshops brought a deep sense of satisfaction and joy. I am now on my way back to Nagpur.

On 5th May 2026, I felt truly happy conducting a stress management and life skills workshop for 101 women police personnel at the grand auditorium located within the Police Headquarters in Gondia.
Gondia is an important region in Vidarbha, connecting three states — Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh. Although this was my first visit to the city, I have been deeply curious about it for the past 25 years.
I remember a time when cancer research was not very advanced, and Vidarbha did not have the kind of medical facilities it has today. Around 25 years ago, my mother underwent a highly successful cancer surgery at Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences. The surgery was performed by the renowned gynecologist Dr. Chhabra, who was extremely well-known at the time. Despite my mother being in the final stage of cancer, the doctor gave her some additional time and relief through that treatment.
Dr. Chhabra belonged to Gondia, and this fact stayed firmly in my mind. I was always very curious about her back then. It has now been 25 years since my mother passed away, and Dr. Chhabra must have retired by now. I no longer have any contact details, otherwise I would have certainly visited her at her home in Gondia. Being in this city today brought back strong memories of her.
The workshop was exceptionally well-organized, and I received a wonderful response and warm hospitality — something that is truly characteristic of our Vidarbha region. The credit goes to their guiding leader, Superintendent of Police, Gorakh Bhamre Sir. He is a dynamic and energetic personality who organized today’s workshop.
Thanks to the excellent planning by Major Martin and Head Constable Raj Sir, the workshop was successfully conducted. Tomorrow, we have another session scheduled.
After the workshop, Lady Constables Ankita, Chetana, and Smita took me around the city of Gondia. Whenever I visit a new place, I make it a point to explore the town and visit important temples to absorb positive energy. It was a lovely experience.
Even though the workshop ran from 11:15 AM to 6:30 PM, I did not feel tired at all. One reason was the sudden and intense rainfall today. With thunder, lightning, and even hail, the rain lashed the city so heavily that trees which had stood tall for years were uprooted. The unexpected two-hour downpour brought relief from the scorching heat, though not without causing significant damage.
Today’s workshop was attended throughout by API Preeti Kulmethe and PS Khushboo Baraiya. The program was inaugurated by the Traffic Police Inspector.
A few glimpses from the event.

28th April 2026, my “Stress Management and Life Skills Workshop” was organized in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar at the grand police auditorium located near the Police Headquarters at N-10 CIDCO. Many women police personnel from the city actively participated in the workshop.
After completing my three years of undergraduate and postgraduate studies in the Department of Dramatic Arts in Sambhajinagar (formerly Aurangabad), returning to this city to conduct a workshop was an especially emotional and joyful moment for me.
These are the cities that shaped my understanding of theatre, gave me lifelong friends, and taught me the true essence of drama and performance. Conducting such a workshop here — while blending it with elements of theatre — brought a unique kind of happiness and fulfillment.
The workshop was conducted from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Tomorrow, I will be heading to Jalna for another workshop with women police personnel, and by evening, I will immediately return to Mumbai. It has truly been a wonderful experience.
I would like to sincerely thank IG Mishra Sir of the Sambhajinagar Range, as well as SP Dr. Vinay Kumar Rathod Sir, for their support and encouragement.

On 13th February 2026, the second day of the “Stress Management and Life Skills” workshop took place in Washim. The session was filled with great enthusiasm from 11:00 AM to 5:30 PM, offering yet another unique experience. Special thanks to Washim’s SP, IPS Anuj Tare. A meeting with the District Collector of Washim, Mr. Yogesh Kumbhejkar, and Education Officer Sanjay Sasane was another highlight of this trip. The contribution of Mr. Yogesh Kumbhejkar as the District Collector for the city and the innovative educational initiatives by Mr. Sanjay Sasane in the Washim region are truly commendable.
On 12th February 2026, I organized a workshop on “Stress Management and Life Skills” for female police officers in Washim. Forty female police officers participated in the session, which was held from 11:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Tomorrow will be the second day of the workshop. The main attraction here is the Balaji Temple, built in 1775, a place of reverence. Constable Ashwini More kindly took me to this temple. My father’s father, i.e., my grandfather, was the principal of the Government School here when my father was in first grade. Because of this, I felt a special connection to the village today.
On 27 January 2026, in Nandurbar, I had the wonderful opportunity to conduct a Stress Management and Life Skills workshop for women police officers 👮♀️✨
While carrying out their duties in uniform, it is natural for emotions, stress, and self-care to take a back seat.
While interacting with the 70 women police officers who participated in the workshop, I closely experienced their inner strength, sensitivity, and confidence.
The journey from stress to calmness, from confusion to clarity, and from responsibility to balance was truly meaningful.
Through stress management and life skills, a new path of self-understanding and self-empowerment was created.
This initiative, made possible through the guidance of Hon. IG Shri Dattaji Karale and Hon. SP of Nandurbar Shri Shravan Datt Sir, and organized by Rajput Madam, was not just a workshop for me — it was an emotional experience of connecting with the woman behind the uniform 🤍
My heartfelt gratitude to all these women police officers —
Your strength, dedication, and positive energy will always continue to inspire me 💫

On 29 December 2025, Today was the second day of the workshop held in Malvan. This workshop was organized for women police officers at the District Collector’s Hall in the village of Oros in Sindhudurg district. The workshop focused on stress management and life skills, and a total of 58 women police officers participated today.
At this occasion, I felt immense pride in being a woman while accepting an honor at the hands of the young and dynamic Additional Superintendent of Police, Respected Madam Navomi Satam, who became a direct IPS officer at the young age of just 26. All the women police officers, along with Respected PI Madam Arifa Mulla, actively participated in the workshop.
The entire planning and coordination of the workshop were managed by police welfare officers Madhura and Avinash Patil, with valuable support from API Madam Nandini. The workshop began at 11:00 a.m. and concluded at 5:30 p.m. on a joyful note, with group dancing and lots of fun.
There was deep satisfaction in knowing that, even if only for one day, we were able to lighten the stress in the lives of police personnel at the end of the year. However, while sitting on the train afterward, only one thought keeps running through my mind—while we will be enjoying New Year’s Eve with our families on the 31st, police officers will be on duty across every corner of Maharashtra, standing alert to ensure that no untoward incidents occur and to protect us all.
Salute to the Maharashtra Police officers and the Maharashtra Police force.
We respect you. 🙏
On 28 December 2025, my Stress Management and Life Skills Workshop was successfully conducted at Oros in Sindhudurg. Today’s program marked my 18th workshop. Through this opportunity, I was able to closely observe the work of women police officers and the police department. While conducting the workshop, I constantly felt how stressful and demanding a police officer’s life truly is.
On this occasion, I also visited the Adivasi Art Village of Padmashri Gangavane Sir located nearby in Kudal. The work he has done in tribal traditional art forms such as illustrated storytelling and puppetry is truly extraordinary. Just as the government has rightly honored him with the Padma Shri, this center should also be declared a heritage site for preserving the culture and art of Malvan. His art, passed down through generations, is something that everyone must experience at least once.
Parashuram Gangavane Sir, along with the next generation of his family, continues to create remarkably beautiful work with great dedication. Anyone visiting Malvan should certainly visit this place in Kudal.
In 2021, during our online program organized by Prarambh Kala Academy, I had featured his traditional string puppet performance. Even before that, I had invited him to perform at the Children’s Festival at Gadkari Rangayatan.
On 24 December 2025, a Stress Management and Life Skills Development Workshop was successfully conducted at the Planning Bhavan Auditorium in Ratnagiri. A total of 71 women police personnel participated in the workshop.
The workshop was held from 11:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and was conducted with great enthusiasm and active participation. Ratnagiri Superintendent of Police Mr. Nitin Bagate and Deputy Superintendent of Police Ms. Radhika Phadke were present on the occasion.
The workshop also received valuable support from Ms. Siya and Ms. Bapat from the Welfare Department.
Special thanks to Mr. Sanjay Darade, Inspector General of Police, Konkan Region, for his guidance and support.

On 23rd December 2025 in Chiplun, my workshop titled “Stress Management and Life Skills” was organized at Mate Auditorium, Chiplun.
On this occasion, the following dignitaries were present for the inauguration:
Mr. Prakash Bele, Sub-Divisional Police Officer, Chiplun
Mrs. Radhika Fadke, Deputy Superintendent of Police (Home), Ratnagiri
Mr. Phulchand Mengade, Police Inspector, Chiplun Police Station
Mrs. Meera Mahamune, Police Sub-Inspector, Chiplun Police Station
A total of 55 women police officers from the Chiplun, Khed, and Dapoli regions participated in and enjoyed this workshop. The workshop began at 11:00 a.m. and concluded at 6:00 p.m.
These workshops are giving me the opportunity to closely understand the lives of women police officers—their daily routines, mental stress, and working methods. Observing all this only deepens my sense of pride in them. I will be writing about these experiences in detail through different articles.
Today’s workshop was extremely fulfilling and satisfying. With special consideration for the mental well-being of police personnel, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Honorable IG of the Konkan Region, Mr. Darade Sir, for taking this thoughtful initiative to care for their mental health and to provide them a few moments of joy. I would also like to thank Honorable SP of Ratnagiri–Chiplun, Mr. Nitin Bagate, for his support.
Today 12th December 2025, was the second and final day of the workshop in Alibag. Yesterday, 102 women police officers participated, and today, 52 attended. The workshop focused on life skills and stress management.
The experience was truly rewarding. Many officers told me, “It’s been so long since we laughed this freely,” and “I felt completely relaxed today—I didn’t think about home, the police station, or investigations.” Hearing that they could live a day just for themselves gave me immense satisfaction. There is no greater joy than helping someone feel lighter and happier.
Alibag is special to me, and I will write about it more later. Today, meeting SP Aachal Dalal, a young and dynamic IPS officer, was a pleasure. I also met Senior Police Inspector Rizwana Nadaf ma’am, who is in the Crime Department and pursuing a PhD. I’m glad to have found a wonderful new friend in her.
Before leaving, Rizwana ma’am and I visited the beach for a few minutes, let the waves touch our feet, and clicked some photos.
I’ve now begun my journey back to Thane and decided to use this travel time to capture a few thoughts about the workshop.
😍😁😘🤷🏻♀️
On 10th December 2025, at the Alibag Police Headquarters, the first session of my Stress Management and Life Skills Workshop was conducted from 11 am to 5:30 pm, and it concluded with remarkable enthusiasm. Working with police personnel always offers a unique and insightful experience, as one becomes aware of the high levels of stress they deal with regularly. For women police officers, the challenges are even more demanding—they constantly struggle to balance family responsibilities with their unpredictable work schedules, where nothing can be planned in advance and duty may call at any moment. Each interaction and every shared story teaches something valuable, and I will be writing in detail about these experiences soon.
This session was attended by Police Inspector (Women’s Cell) Rizwan Nadak and Police Sub-Inspector Sarita Gosavi, while Woman Police Hawaldar Aarti Raut took the lead in planning and organizing the entire workshop. I have shared a few snapshots from the session, and the video will be posted soon.
Today 8th December 2025, my 2nd workshop on Stress Management and Life Skills, organized by A.B.
